We have marvellous news to share!

The Hon Michael Wood, Minister of Immigration, has announced Government changes to current immigration policy which will help the families of many - but not all - former refugees to be reunited and settle in New Zealand.

This includes news that Immigration New Zealand will coordinate and fund travel to New Zealand for many of these families. As our wonderful supporters, you know that this is the work we have been undertaking for many years, entirely on the strength of your commitment and generosity. You showed the way. We are beyond thrilled that there are now more resources available to reunite families.

We are still working through what this means and we know many families who fall outside this policy will still come to us for support. We will report back to you as we learn what the implications are and how our focus may change. But in the first instance, we simply want to offer you our gratitude. You have held us up for ten years and in that time reunited more than 70 families through your kindness alone.

Thank you from the Trustees and everyone you have helped!
